Smriti Alaya is in Closed Beta. These terms describe how the service works today, plainly, and will be revised as the product grows.
Every Memory, photo, recording and story you preserve belongs to you. Smriti Alaya stores it and helps organize it; it never becomes ours to use, publish, or sell.
Create an account to begin a Legacy of your own. Don't use the service to preserve or share content that isn't yours to share, that is unlawful, or that impersonates someone without their knowledge. Accounts used this way may be suspended.
A Gift is an invitation for someone else to begin their own Legacy. Once accepted, it is entirely theirs — giving a Gift does not grant you access to what the recipient preserves, and it cannot be revoked once claimed.
Legacy Membership is an optional, paid, one-year entitlement to unlimited preservation. Pricing is shown at checkout and may change between renewal periods; it is never changed retroactively on a period you've already paid for.
Smriti Alaya is under active development. Features may change, and we will always treat your already-preserved Memories as the thing that must never be lost, even while other parts of the product change around them.
